ABOUT ME

Hello! I’m Emoni Bush, and I proudly embrace my heritage as half First Nations and half Black. My diverse background shapes my perspective and influences my work. I believe in the motto: "Play true, honor roots: rise with spirit, embrace your path."

I am committed to giving back to my communities and serving as a strong role model for youth.

I am from the Wei Wai Kum First Nation in Campbell River, BC. Born in Seattle, WA, I grew up in Campbell River, where I am the eldest of eight grandchildren.

Throughout my volleyball career, I have achieved significant milestones, including being named B.C. Girls Player of the Year for 2020-21 by Varsity Letters. I’m also proud to be part of Volleyball Canada's National Excellence Program and currently play for Team Canada.

Play true, honor roots: rise with spirit, embrace your path.
